The artists
The voice of Nolwenn Leroy,
music by Bruno Coulais.
Singer Nolwenn Leroy is one of the leading French-song artists thanks to
her album “Bretonne”, which has sold over 1.2 million copies. The voice
behind “Ô Filles de l’eau” guides visitors to Futuroscope into a world of dream
as she narrates the wonderful tale of Lady Ô to a musical score by
Bruno Coulais (The Chorus) and dance routines by Mourad Merzouki.
The technology
A groundbreaking technological array for an immersive experience.
A new spatialised sound system unleashes an immersive experience in a theatre dripping with giant video-mapping effects. The show combines a light show on water screens, pyrotechnics, multicoloured lasers, flames and fountains on a 75,000-ft² lake.
The night theatre
A 5,000-seat open-air theatre.
The terrace seating rises from the lakeside. It portrays inhabitants from
the five continents looking out onto a vast lake that forms one of the
largest water stages in Europe against the backdrop of a 36-ft-high waterfall.
