& BOOKINGTHE FUTURE IS WILD
The attraction
Ride out on an interactive
safari into the future.
Climb on board the train with the augmented-reality system
and come face to face with animals that could be living on
our planet in 5 million to 200 million years from now.
And thanks to your binoculars and sensor bracelet, you
can also feed them and play with them.
The technology
Augmented reality.
Your binoculars contain an inbuilt
camera that films the backdrop. A computer
then adds virtual 3D animals to the
film, which is transmitted back to your
binoculars in real time. The animals
come to life in the scenery, and you can
interact with them in real time.
The experience
Log on to
lesanimauxdufutur.com and
continue the augmented-reality
experience at home.
The architecture
A Noah’s Ark for the Future.
The theatre built for The Future is Wild forms an ellipse and seems
to carry the distant descendents of today’s animals. With this theatre,
architect Denis Laming also reinvents the architectural range of Futuroscope,
creating a setting that does justice to the experience.
